Ballast
Ballast is a business account for small creative studios that get paid in dollars and pounds but pay rent in euros. The site had to feel as calm as the product: black panels, concrete and daylight, and one steel card.

Money that stays still
The brief
Studios of one to forty people bill clients in other countries. Payments arrive late, in the wrong currency, and tax money gets spent by accident. Ballast wanted a landing page that explains three ideas fast: get paid like a local, put tax aside automatically, let idle cash earn something. It should look expensive and quiet, not like another neon bank.
What we did
We built the page as two full-screen panels that swap with one scroll: the hero slides away and the three feature cards assemble piece by piece. The steel card in the hero turns once on load, follows the cursor and changes finish. Below, an invoice from New York converts and splits into pots while you watch, the steps of opening an account move sideways as you scroll, and a live counter shows money paid in today. All photos are one series of concrete rooms and daylight, graded to the same tone.
