Stille
Stille builds quiet electric outboard motors in Bergen for water taxis, fishing boats and day boats. The site opens on the motor itself, standing between the words of the headline, and then lets one long fjord shot carry the technology story.

A motor you can hear the water through.
Stille needed a site that sells a technical product to boatbuilders, ferry operators and fishermen without looking like a spec sheet. The motor had to be the hero, and the coast had to be in every section.
We rendered the motor in chrome and stood it in the middle of the first screen, with the headline running in front of and behind it while the sky fades to fog as you scroll. A small fjord film in the intro grows to full screen and holds four chapters about the drive, the battery, cold-water testing and the Bergen workshop. Below sit video cards for recent fleets, a fleet data chart with four boat types, and a rail of short films shot along the coast.
