Aufguss sessions run here all day around a wood-fired stove with 600 kg of stones. Stand at the top bench for the full heat, or sit low on your first round.

Black walls, a window at bench height and soft heat that builds slowly. No talking and no phones. Bookable for private groups on Sunday evenings.

A glass wall faces west over the water and the door opens straight onto the deck. Busiest at sunset, almost empty at seven in the morning.

Climb down the ladder into the fjord for ten seconds or a full minute. When the harbour freezes we cut a pool in the ice, and two plunge pools stay open all year.

Utsikt, the window sauna
The west wall of Utsikt is one sheet of glass over the fjord. At 77 degrees it fogs up in minutes, so guests draw on it. Go ahead.
Plan a visit
A round is heat, then cold, then rest. Pick how many and how hot, and watch the temperature around you over the visit.
First time? Two gentle rounds with the shower. Most people add the fjord on their second visit.
